The Norwich Poetry Club kicks off in February 2010 with performances from visiting poet Martin Newell and resident Luke Wright. It will be the first in a series of boutique, back-to-basics poetry events held at The Bicycle Shop on St Benedicts Street, Norwich. Each poet will perform for 30 mins or so with a short break in the middle. A podcast of each event will be made available the week after via iTunes and this website.
The Norwich Poetry Club is run by six poets from Norwich: Martin Figura, Yanny Mac, Molly Naylor, John Osborne, Hannah Walker and Luke Wright.

I also like to make poems and read lots of books that is related to Poetry.`”:
Hi
From Trevor Wainwright the World famous ME Poet, well in the ME world and Castleford, West Yorkshire anyway. With an unusual request, but then again where poetry is concerned, maybe not.
Thom “The World Poet” Woodruff also known as Thom Moon is looking for paid poetry work for his October UK Tour.
He is based in Austin, Texas-so there is the reality of airfares and car hire and shelter and food with regards to his poetic photographs within your circles.
Thom has toured the UK since 1993, at Strawberry Fair and Glastonbury Festival, Cheltenham , worked with Gong, Kangaroo Moon and IOCOT to name just a few bands, staged workshops in libraries and schools, and worked with writers groups in many cities, loves sharing poetry via readings and wordshops, and can be contacted as of now
He did STREET POETRY in Australia , helped set up AUSTIN INTERNATIONAL POETRY FESTIVAL, and runs many open mikes for all aspiring poets, and gives them space to recite at his events.
He improvises with musicians, too! And is a great guy, I have worked with him on many an occasion since 2003, so I’m bound to be biased.
Interested in inviting him to your event? Check him out at http://www.worldpoetry.org. Contact him via worldpoet@rocketmail.com RSVP A S A P
Please feel free to forward the above to any other group that may be interested.
Thanks
Regards
Trevor Wainwright
